Boudoir
I am sure before today you have heard the term “Boudoir Shoot”. But what exactly is it? The [French] word Boudoir historically means a woman's bedroom and/or private room. You can see now why these intimate portraits took their name. This style of photography features Classy, intimate, sensual, romantic portraits usually taken in a private environment! Boudoir treads a very fine line between fashion and glamour portraits.
Now that your curious, go join our GCP Boudoir Lounge group on Facebook so you can see more of our work, join the conversation, and just feel empowered!
Now, where do we go from here?
Step One: The Consultation. Let’s meet and plan your dream session!
Step Two: The Boudoir Shoot. This is where all of that planning comes together for an unforgettable Boudoir experience.
Step Three: The Reveal. This is when we will discuss how are we going to display your new portraits and order your collection,
With GCP we like to meet for a consultation before booking a session so we can get to know each other. This breaks the ice and lets us get more comfortable with each other. We will set up a time that we can sit down and go over all the details of your session. This doesn't have to take long; however, it can take as long as you need to ask what ever questions you may have.
If you have questions - such as where to buy lingerie and accessories, what type of Lingerie to buy etc., I have lots of information and a list of great online sites as well as local stores to shop - do not hesitate to ask me anything! If you joined the GCP Boudoir Lounge you will find that there is an entire guide for just this.
Don't want to wear Lingerie? Thats no problem, boudoir sessions do not require lingerie and not everyone likes lingerie. You are welcome to wear whatever you are comfortable in. A big sweater and knee-high socks, a sexy dress, whatever you want, remember this session is all about you.
I have a spectacular makeup artist that I have paired up with for these types of sessions; her name is Luis Booker. Shes an amazing local artist that's even been published for her work as well by the Houston Magazine. You will need to plan to be in makeup at least One hour before our shoot (or more depending on travel). *If you prefer your own makeup or another artist - please let me know ahead of time so I know not to coordinate a time slot with Miss Booker*
Once you choose your date and collection, we will collect your nonrefundable retainer and book the studio and makeup artist for your session.
